Orchids are some of my favorite flowers. Their structure, color, texture, design, are all sources of wonder and admiration. They make me pause to admire them and are a reminder to stop and offer our time and attention to those things that deserve our admiration: goodness expressed in a toy and candy shared, kindness expressed in words and actions, gentleness expressed in building forts and towers, sweetness expressed in smiles, hugs, and kisses.
